Early Win
A small, visible, ship-able contribution made in the first 30 days, designed to build trust without overreaching.
An early win is a small, finished thing you produce in your first month. A doc, a fix, a customer email, a polished design surface. Something the team can point at and say 'they shipped that.'
The bar is low on purpose. The point of an early win is not the artifact, it is the practice round of the team's review process. You learn how the team gives feedback by giving them something to feed back on.
The mistake is reaching for a 'big' early win. Big wins in week 4 read as overconfident. A small clean win in week 4 builds trust to attempt a real bet in week 6.
